About Slingshot
Since 1981 Tony Logosz and his brother Jeff have dedicated themselves to the performance and design of quality water sports equipment. Years of hard work and innovation, that is spawned from Tony’s ability to think in original ways, is what fuels them today. In 1999, after numerous innovations in windsurfing, wakeboarding and other major sports, both set forth to found Slingshot. Since then Slingshot has grown to be a global brand which caters to top kiteboarders and wakeboarders in the world.

Slingshot today: achieving this level of success commits us to our core beliefs. People who ride Slingshot will always come first. Our commitment to quality, innovative design, testing and riding have been a driving force for an entire decade. Through this decade we have been awarded four U.S. patents that make kiteboarding more convenient and safer. We also proudly license patents, from other great innovators of our sport, to help establish high levels of quality and set industry standards. This contributes to the prosperity and growth of kiteboarding and wakeboarding.

The passion within Slingshot is seen on the water by the world’s top athletes riding and pushing the limits of our equipment every day. Our dedication to quality and performance has empowered our riders to literally change both wakeboarding and kiteboarding worlds. Since childhood it is has been in our DNA to invent and deliver equipment specific to the sports we love. Tony refers to these inventions as ART.

The Slingshot Team

This is why owning any Slingshot product is like being a part of the family. We may not always be perfect, but we always make right by the customer. Call us anytime; WE want to talk to YOU.

2. Our athletes: while growing up we had great mentors who supported our riding, our education in developing products, composites, (Thanks, Demetrije Milovich) and others who have helped develop our business sense. As our own athletic abilities wane with age our passion to bring each sport to life grows stronger. We believe in giving back. We love finding raw, unbelievably talented athletes and supporting their dreams. The results have been incredible. We have since then witnessed levels of riding we thought not possible all within the true essence of freeriding in mind. On the kite side names like, Bertrand Fleury, Jeff Tobias, Martin Vari, Julien Sudrat, and Mark Doyle all pushed the sport to another level.

Today riders like Ben Wilson risk it all to surf new territory every day and is currently gaining legend status in our sport. Ruben Lenten compliments our team by literally reaching new heights with such power that leaves us in awe. Youri Zoon, now on the scene, is blowing minds so watch out for him to come. On the wake team innovation and style are being defined by Jeff House, Rob Jacques, Jeff McKee. Expect Slingshot to continually look for the next personality that represents our need to push our sports and freeriding to an insane level.
