Kitelauncher Turbolauncher
The Turbo Launcher allows you to let out your lines with the kite attached so that you can launch in areas where you can't lay out the entire length of your lines. It is designed specifically for launching in the water where there isn't a large beach or from a boat. Eliminate line tangles while making launching fast and simple. Launch without a beach - from the shore, while drifting in the water or from a boat.

About Kitelauncher Turbolauncher by Kitelauncher

The Kitelauncher(tm) is a stiff plastic object of approximately 18" in length and 8" in diameter at the nose.

The base locks down the kite control bar with the sheeting system tucked into the hollow shaft. All the lines exit the shaft through a slit and are then rolled onto the spool in either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation while you rotate or twist your hand in the opposite direction preventing the lines from curling over each other.

When you have rolled the lines and still have 10 ft to go, wrap another 2 to 3 ft of your lines in a figure of 8 around the two hooks.

This helps prevent the lines crossing over your layed out configuration. Then cinch the remaining 5 feet in an orderly manner (as not to have your lines crossed over) on the o rubber holder on the nose.

The remainder of the lines and pigtails will need to untangle next time you connect your kite to your lines. This is so little effort. Compared to other kiters you are now always ready to launch. Simply hook up and go. Saving you TIME and EFFORT. For more demonstration check out this movie.

For boat or drift launching the Turbolauncher has to be loaded in a very specific way to ensure best results and overall safety. Please review the boat & drift launching instructions.

It only takes 4 simple steps to get you ready to go and launched to enjoy the wind and waves.

Always make sure that your trailing edge lines are on the outside of the leading edge lines when you attach them and also make sure they are not crossed over. You are now ready to go.

Have a friend hold your kite while you unhook your lines from the orange rubber head and then walk back allowing the lines to unravel of the spool until the sheating system falls out of the shaft slit or give it a nudge and place some tension in your lines to get the Turbolauncher to unhook and fall away from your bar and lines.

If you are on a boat, place your kite leading edge down on the water and allow the wind to blow your kite downwind assisting the lines to unravel from the Turbolauncher until you have tension and the Turbolauncher can be removed from the lines and sheeting system and bar. You can then use your 5th line to launch.

Method of wrapping lines on spool. In order to keep lines straight and to stop them curling over each other near the ends/pigtails you need to twist the hand holding the lines in the opposite rotation to the rotation ( clockwise or counterclockwise) that you are using to wrap the lines on the spool..
