O'Neill PSYCHO II RG8 4/3 BLUE Wetsuit
2011 O'Neill PSYCHO II RG8 4/3 Wetsuit

The O'Neill Psycho RG8 wetsuit represents a natural progression and evolution. The Psycho Regenerate Series takes the best aspects of O'Neill's incredible ZEN Zip closure found in the Psycho wetsuits and uses this same technology in a front-zip entry.

The NEW F.U.Z.E closure system has tested by O'Neill's most intense team riders in the most frigid waters across the globe, and all reports point to yet another ground-breaking addition to the Psycho family.

RG8 - O'Neill's Neoprene Re-Generate Project:
O'Neill is proud to announce that years of neoprene recyling research are paying off! By working with their own factories and ahandful of outside partners, O'Neill have found a way to reintroduce other material which can be used to make a variety of components and products normally built using first generation neoprene. O'Neill is excited to be at the forefront of this new program and it's efforts to reduce, re-use and recycle products that keep you in the water for longer!

About O'Neill PSYCHO II RG8 4/3 BLUE Wetsuit by O'Neill

2011 O'Neill Psycho II RG8 4/3 Wetsuit
Water Temp
: 42 - 65
Air Temp and Wind: 30 - 70

Excellent stretch, flex and water rating. Very good Wind and Air. Good durability. Best suited for cold water and cold to moderate air temps down to the low 30's with light to moderate wind. The limestone based neoprene seems warmer to me and very flexible.

Colors: ALL BLACK (all sizes), BLUE (only Large in stock)

All new for Fall 2010 / Winter 2011 the O'Neill Psycho RG8. The Psycho RG8 is going to be available in a 3/2 (model #3645) and a 4/3 (model #3636). What's new is the RG8 Ultraflex neoprene that's more environmentally friendly and a new FUZE closure system. It's a front zip system, similar looking to the RipCurl E-Bombs. I would expect good things from the Psycho RG8.

Ultraflex RG8 Neoprene: The body is 100% RGB Ultraflex neoprene. Great stretch, soft and a really nice return flex. I'm really impressed and it's made in a more environmentally friendly way and that's good too.

F.U.Z.E. Closure System: It's a lot like the E-Bomb closures. One zipper in the front is going to mean even less water coming into the suit when duck diving, even less than the O'Neill Mutant and that's hard to imagine. Less zippers means even more flex (zippers don't stretch). The flex should be truly insane. This is a nice design, but it's going to have a few limitations. Guys with big shoulders aren't going to find the angled chest zip entry as easy to get into as the Mutant.

1X Fluid Seam Weld
: Yes, the O'Neill Fluid Seam Weld (FSW). O'Neill has the best welded neoprene and this suit has it on the outside only. That will make the suit more flexible than the 2X FSW. Having the FSW only on the outside also makes the inside more comfortable. Nothing but praise for the O'Neill Fluid Seam Weld.

Back Panel Firewall: 30% more stretch than last years firewall and "measurably lighter". I can't imagine it being that much of a difference, but apparently it's measurable. O'Neill wetsuit firewalls work and having more stretch is nice making it lighter will mean more air, which means more insulation, which should be good all around.
