ARE YOU READY FOR THE MOST UNFORGETTABLE KITE & SURF ADVENTURE?
Epic Kite & Surf Trip = One 64ft Power Cruiser, 400 kilometers NE of Tahiti in the Tuamotu Atolls, 87 islands, only 1 registered Surf Charter Boat - Cascade, and 8 surfers - a simple equation. A great kite & surfing holiday. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTArriving by plane from Papeete would be the highlight of the trip if it wasn't only the begining - you and your friends land and taxi to the end of the runway, where Cascade sits on a dock, a mere 50 meters from the end of the strip. Grabbing your boards, its a short walk to the start of something special. The Tuamotu atolls are not like the main island of Tahiti in relation to waves. Here the waves are much more lined up and the breaks are very close to land. This makes it a lot easier to surf as it's easier to sit in the right spot and the waves tend to peel for longer distances as they push along the point breaks. Almost everyday Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi (Dolphin Fish) are caught and prepared for delicious Sushi or Sashimi as well as many other delicious fish dishes. Our first Class chef makes some of the best food on the south seas. Three hot meals are prepared for our clients everyday. As the sun sets on yet another great day, take an ice cold beer from the fridge and let it soak in, you deserve it. When your ready to retire to your cabin, relax, because tomorrow will be just as good. Trips are limited to eight kitesurfers, ensuring maximum wave time, just you and your friends in paradise. Join us. OVERVIEW - KITE SURFINGKite surfing is so new to the Tuamotus that we really cant say that much about it as its still being discovered. The nice thing is - we are the only ones doing the discovering right now. It wont be this way for long since everyone that has come is going home and telling all their friends.
What we can say is the conditions are consistent. Perfect for riding waves. Hundreds of pristine deserted beaches for launching and relaxing. Hundreds of protected bays for screaming around and of course - the open sea and waves for the having.
The main island of Tahiti is just on 7 hours flying time from Australia and Los Angeles, a journey of about 7000kms. On arrival in Papeete, Tahiti you will be met by a Cascade representative, who will transfer you to a nearby hotel, included in the total package. Normally guests arrive Friday night. After an overnight stay in Tahiti you will be taken to the airport for a short flight to the Tuamotu atolls on Air Tahiti. The Atolls are 400kms northeast of Tahiti. Depending on conditions and weather the exact island you will be flown to will vary up to the week before. Cascade will be waiting at the end of the runway to pickup you and your boards. Cascade also arranges the local flight connections. Once in the islands you will be met by our experienced and friendly staff of Chris O'Callaghan and/or Moana David. Typical days on the Cascade are spent surfing, diving, spear fishing, bait fishing, kayaking, as well as eating and drinking the finest and freshest foods the South Pacific can serve up. At the end of the trip either Chirs or Moana will escort you back to Tahiti where we book a day room for use by our clients. This enables everyone to freshen up before going out as a group for dinner and a few beers. Finally, you will be dropped off at the airport for your night flight home.
