We carry the full AXIS Foils range: front and rear wings, masts, fuselages, boards and the parts that hold a foil together. This is how the current range is laid out, family by family, and where each one fits.

Front wings

All AXIS front wings

  • Surge, 740 to 1240. The newest AXIS family, in Ultra High Modulus reinforced carbon at an aspect ratio of about 9.3 to 9.5. A surf foil at heart that also covers wing, prone, parawing and downwind; the 1080, 1150 and 1240 are the downwind and parawing sizes, and the 1240 is the wing to look at if you ride a Spitfire 1180.
  • Tempo, 890 to 1090. Ultra High Modulus, aspect ratio about 16. The Tempo runs on the Ti Link titanium fuselage, with the Skinny Link rears or other rears through the aluminium rear adapter.
  • Fireball, 880 to 1750. Ultra High Modulus, aspect ratio 12.8 to 20.1, from efficient mid sizes to very big glide wings. The largest sizes run on the FATTY fuselage.
  • PNG V2, 1200, 1300 and 1400. The pump and dock start family: the 1200 and 1400 for dock starts and pumping, the 1300 for downwind and parawing.
  • ART V2, 819 to 1099. Ultra High Modulus reinforced, aspect ratio about 10: AXIS's high aspect performance wing, and riders use it mostly for wing foiling.
  • Spitfire, 620 to 1180. High Modulus carbon, aspect ratio 6.1 to 9.1: easy and forgiving. The Spitfire 1100 is one of the wings AXIS recommends for learning.
  • SES (Super Easy Start). A fibreglass wing and complete packages built for first sessions; see the AXIS packages.

The ART Pro, ART, HPS, BSC, PNG and SP wings are on AXIS closeout while stock lasts. The BSC in particular is still a very good wing to learn on.

Rear wings

All AXIS rear wings. AXIS names its rears by span and chord in millimetres, so a Skinny 360/45 is 360mm wide with a 45mm chord.

  • Surf Skinny, 280/43 to 340/50. The rear most riders pair with the Surge.
  • Skinny, 250/20 to 365/55. Across this family the span barely changes and the chord does the work: a bigger chord gives more lift and stability, a smaller one more speed.
  • Skinny Link. The Skinny for the Ti Link fuselage and the Tempo.
  • Progressive, 250 to 475. Ten sizes, and a common pairing with the Spitfire.
  • Freeride, 400 and 440, and the Pump 460 V2.

Masts

All AXIS masts

  • Kaiwi and Pro, AXIS's Ultra High Modulus carbon masts.
  • Power Carbon High Modulus (75, 82, 90 and 102) and Power Carbon (75, 82 and 90). A carbon mast comes with its base plate.
  • Power Carbon FATTY (80 and 90), which fits the FATTY fuselages only.
  • Integrated Foil Drive masts, for foil assist.
  • 19mm aluminium, 45 to 105cm, which AXIS calls the stiffest aluminium mast on the market. The red version is current, and a black 19mm system (the same mast with a revised base plate and doodad) arrives in November. Black parts go with black parts and red with red. An aluminium mast needs a doodad to meet the fuselage and a base plate to meet the board.

Fuselages

All AXIS fuselages

  • Black Advance+ in six lengths, from the Standard at 780mm down to the Psychoshort at 520mm: shorter is looser and quicker to turn, longer is more stable.
  • Black Advance 20, Standard, Short and Ultrashort.
  • Black Advance+ FATTY, Short, Ultrashort and Psychoshort, for the FATTY masts and the biggest Fireballs.
  • Black Windsurf V3 and the Arrow.
  • Ti Link, titanium, for the Tempo.

The Surge, Fireball, PNG V2, ART V2 and Spitfire all mount on the Black fuselages, and the Tempo on the Ti Link. The older Red fuselages suit the Red-era wings and are on closeout.

Boards

All AXIS foilboards

  • Downwind: the Frank Mako 2, 90 to 130 litres; the Hybrid, a downwind and SUP crossover; and the Frank Downwind boards, now 35% off.
  • Wing: the Frank Dart (90 to 130 litres), the Frank Mini Dart (50 to 100 litres) and the Blast (55 to 115 litres).
  • Pump and dock: the Pump boards and the Dock 880, 899 and 999.
  • Kite: the Tray v5, 110 and 125.
  • Foil assist: the patented Pocket Trench boards for the Foil Drive; see AXIS foil assist.
