AXIS Kite Foil Package 740

The small, quick complete kite foil, and the one to look at if you are a lighter rider. The SURGE 740 is the smallest wing in the family and it is a favourite among kite foilers: enormous control at speed, easy to pump, and playful in a way the bigger sizes are not. Riders reaching their fastest speeds on AXIS gear with a kite are doing it on this wing.

What makes it a lighter rider's package is the rear wing. It is built on the small rears rather than the 320 the bigger SURGE packages carry: a rider at or under about 75 kg wants a PROGRESSIVE 275 or a SURF SKINNY 280, and that is exactly what riders on this wing report using. The Progressive is the more forgiving and has a touch more lift; the Surf Skinny is looser and faster.

If you are heavier than about 80 kg, look at the 780 or 830 package instead, or keep this wing and size the rear up.
