Ozone Flux V3 Wing

The fastest single-skin wing Ozone has built. The Flux V3 gives you race-level speed from a tough, everyday Dacron frame. It drives forward on its own, tracks upwind relentlessly and stays composed as the wind builds, so you can push your speed and your manoeuvres further. It is made for speed-hungry intermediate and advanced riders who want their freeriding to feel fast and fluid.

What is new

• A rigid carbon boom with zero movement. A stitched-in base plate replaces the old slot handles, so the wing reacts the instant you move the boom. A textured EVA grip, a moulded EVA bumper that protects your board and gives a natural pistol grip, and higher-grade carbon on the longer booms so the big sizes feel as direct as the small ones.
• More drive, no front stalling. A refined centre profile keeps a steady, reassuring pull in the front hand at speed and stops the wing stalling in tacks and gybes.
• A thinner profile and a broader wind range. Easier to pump onto foil in light air, less drag and more control when it blows, so one size covers more days.
• Air time. Its speed and stability make it a strong wing for jumping, with good lift on the way down.
• A hybrid canopy of Teijin 5x5 ripstop across the main canopy and 3x3 on the high-load front panels, to hold its shape season after season.
• Anti-flap batten pockets (six on the larger sizes, four on the smaller), a stiff leading-edge handle for flagging out on a wave, and high-visibility windows.

Flux V3 or Flow V2?

The Flux V3's longer planform flies faster and gives more top-end control: a lock-in-and-go speed machine for riders on fast foils. The Flow V2 is easier to ride, has more low-end grunt and is the more wave-focused of the two, with swept tips that are easier to keep out of the water. Not sure which suits you? Ask us.
