Two sizes, 6.6 and 7.7m, and the thing that surprises people is how little they feel like big wings. The compact planform keeps the tips out of the water through manoeuvres, and the low-drag shape means it still behaves at the top of its range rather than fighting you when the wind fills in.
Worth knowing
- New Ozone carbon boom, the same zero-movement connection as the Flow V2
- Among the lightest light wind wings made: 2.97 kg for the 6.6m and 3.23 kg for the 7.7m, boom included
- Stiffer surf handle for better drift
- An extra anti-flap batten on the trailing edge to hold sail tension when it gets windy
- 125 g dacron leading edge, pre-loaded so it deforms less under power
Big power with a small feel, and remarkably good at tacking for a wing this size. If your spot is light more often than not, this is the wing that adds days to your season.
